On March 1st the debut solo show 'Chromatic Couture' by Amsterdam upcoming fashion illustrator and artist Charlotte Greeven opens.

Charlotte Greeven, a talented emerging artist based in Amsterdam, presents her first solo show 'Chromatic Couture' at the I Love Illustration Gallery, featuring unique fashionable and intimate portraits. Her work, characterized by the fluid use of ink on paper, embodies a profound expression of emotion and beauty.

Her recent personal experience with breast cancer has had a major influence on Greeven's work, changing her view of the human body. This transformative experience challenged her to explore her inner emotions, adding a deeper dimension to her work.

Inspired by light, movement and color, Charlotte remains her aesthetic to develop. She started her painting career as a fashion designer graduate at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and has been practicing her profession ever since honed through various courses such as lighting design, multimedia art and scenography in Antwerp.
